The outlet sells “limited production and export overruns” manufactured by Islander Footwear Manufacturing Corporation (IFMC), according to its About page. “To all who worked with us, patronized us, shared with us, enjoyed with us, laughed and cried with us, persevered and believed in us, our friends, colleagues, families…Thank you, thank you so much!” Islander Factory Outlet said in a post on December 26.

Another Facebook post, published by the US 7th Fleet on June 4, 2019, shows photos of USCG Bertholf during its deployment in the Western Pacific.

The video of the Indian guided missile destroyer INS Kolkata (063) shown in the video was taken in New Zealand, and not in the Philippines. The title and caption of the original video, posted by YouTube user AirflowNZ on September 1, 2023, says that it was taken during INS Kolkata’s visit to Auckland, New Zealand on August 31, 2023. According to Facebook posts of the Royal New Zealand Navy and the High Commission of India in New Zealand, INS Kolkata went to Auckland for a “four-day resupply and goodwill visit.”

The quote card is fake, as confirmed by the BARMM Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG). “For the record, neither this Ministry nor any Bangsamoro Government official ever said these heinous things about our Christian brothers and sisters,” MILG said in a post on Sunday, December 3.

A Chinese vessel was spotted shadowing the recent joint air and sea patrols of the Philippines and the US in the South China Sea, but neither the Philippines nor the US attacked any Chinese ships. The Philippines’ Navy and Department of National Defense, as well as the US Department of Defense, have not reported any such incident either. The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said the Chinese ship was shadowing the joint forces during the November 23 patrol, but said there were “no aggressive actions by China.”

In a public advisory released on November 23, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) debunked the post and warned the public against fake online accounts claiming to sell luggage lost in NAIA. “The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and the airline operators have clear and established protocols in safekeeping and disposal of lost or left behind items.
